Subject Strengths update

Electronic resources are an increasingly crucial aspect of the CCU Library collection. Over 73,000 journals are currently available electronically, in addition to 260 databases and 580,000 e-books covering all subjects taught at the university.

Electronic resources play an important role in the library. Electronic resource expenditures constitute 38% of the library’s budget, and they are frequently used, with more than 647,000 full-text annual downloads. Many of these resources are accessible through databases available to CCU library users and through the Library Catalog.

The majority of the online databases and electronic journals are provided on campus and are accessible through the recognition of a workstation's IP address within the ccu.edu.tw domain. Current CCU students, faculty, and staff can access e-resources from outside the university network with proper authentication.
